Fun Finishes
Tuesday 2:00-5:00 -Cathy Lounsbury
Learn to finish small cross stitch projects in several different ways other than framing. We will talk about stand-up finishes, round finishes, flat finishes, ornament finishes, drum finishes, pillow finishes, box finishes and unusual items that can be used to finish your cross stitch.
Please bring a small stitched piece that you would like help choosing a finish style for and we will finish it in class. You will also need to bring the following supplies:
* Chipboard piece big enough for your finished piece, unless you are making a pillow
* Coordinating fabric
* Warm and Natural batting piece big enough to put behind your finished piece
* Trim if you want to use it on your finished piece. This includes rick rack, chenille, pom poms, ribbon, etc.
* Needle and matching thread
* Scissors
* Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue (small bottle)
I will provide heavy scissors for cutting chipboard, iron, and any other supplies you might need to use.
