Part 1 Description:

In this class, we will learn how to color this canvas tote using DERWENT INKTENSE pencils (available at Amazon in packs of 6, 12, 24, or 72). The suggested pack size of pencils is 24. Inktense pencils create vivid colors and beautiful blending. You may use other colored pencils but you will not get the same results. Tote (17.7x13.4x6.3 inches) with pattern is $5 you can pay the teacher the day of class.

Supplies

• Derwent Inktense pencils

• Fabric Medium

• Small Paintbrush to apply fabric medium (1/4 to 1/2” flat or round, whatever you’re comfortable with)

Part 2 Description:

In this class, we will embellish the tote using decorative stitches and threads.

Supplies

• Assorted weight and color of threads from your stash

• Small scissors

• Chenille Needles size 22 or 24

• optional: embroidery stitch book. Suggested books: The Right-Handed (or Left-Handed) Embroiderer’s Companion by Yvette Stanton, or Creative Stitching by Sue Spargo.
